Hi Andrew, Yeah, I think this is the way I'll go. Compact, can be easily powered by any off-the-shelf powerbank and uses WiFi 6. Might have to consider talking to Mike about a bulk order ;) Regards, Christopher Hawker On Tue, 22/04/2025 07:25 PM, Andrew Radke <andrew@deepport.net> wrote:
Hi Christopher,
I think the one you’ll be looking at is a hAP ax lite (L41G-2axD).
It’s only got 2.4GHz WiFi but it is 802.11ax (WiFi 6) so this is pretty fast for devices that support it and definitely higher than the 40-45 Mbps that is the top TCP download speeds on Starlink [1].
Alternatively, you could get a USB-C adaptor that told the power bank it would like 19V and provided that out to power almost any Mikrotik router. I know I’ve seen things like this but I’d have to dig around to find them again.
Cheers, Andrew

I've got a Starlink Mini which can be powered from a power bank, but I also need a low-power router that can also be used. What would be the best Tik that can do the job, if any at all?
