Hi Jason, The only application for changing queue parameters that I am aware of is for cases where a network provider's aggressive traffic policer causes problems with customer data rate queues - so that increasing or decreasing the bucket size of the HTB queue allows it to prevent data rate triggering dropped packets. Some folks on this list have used those tricks to settle down troubles with NBN packet drops causing significant data rate limitations. Other than that, the default queues have always been good enough for applications that I've come across! :) Cheers!

Now and then I like to look around the dusty corners of Winbox. I noticed that the default wireless interface queue is an SFQ type. Has anyone here ever messed with these i/f queues and if so why?
