I think for the short term, I'll be going with Vivid Wireless, but when I eventually look at the WDSL for a permanent solution, I'll pick one of the USB or breakout cards for a backup internet connection. I couldn't find any definitive advice if we can bridge the E5186 and get the MikroTik to do the dialing. I'd rather avoid double-NAT'ing if I can. Otherwise, I guess I could pull the SIM out and stick it in a known working modem - but that seems awfully expensive for not much.
